Jo Newfarmer is a male singer-songwriter (he/him). He was born in Australia, where the vast landscapes and wide-open skies first inspired his love for music. Growing up surrounded by nature's rhythm, he found melodies in everything — from the crash of ocean waves to the hum of evening cicadas.
A long time ago, love called him across the world to Europe. After he travelled through different countries and soaked in new cultures, Belgium became his home. The cobblestone streets, the café culture, and the rain-washed light of Belgian cities gave him a new palette for his creative expression.
Today, he produces self-creative pop ballads — entirely self-created songs that blend the warmth of Australian storytelling with the intimacy of European artistry. Every note is crafted by him personally: he writes, arranges, produces, and performs it all himself.
His music lives in a space between continents and between emotions — capturing the bittersweet beauty of leaving home and the quiet joy of building a new one.
